About  Me

I’m a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience working in mental health and addiction treatment settings. Before starting my therapy practice, I spent many years working in treatment centers, supporting people dealing with trauma, substance use and dependence, and anxiety. That experience continues to shape how I work and how I show up in the therapy room.

My approach is direct, warm, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real partnership and you are actively involved in the process. I draw from both my professional training and personal experience in my work, and I’m thoughtful about what I recommend. I won’t suggest strategies or tools that I haven’t tried myself or that aren’t supported by research.

I work with people from all backgrounds, and I especially enjoy working with those who feel stuck or discouraged by past treatment experiences. This includes chronic relapsers who feel like they’ve tried everything, young adults who want to change the trajectory of their lives, and people who have been in therapy for a long time but haven’t seen the lasting changes they were hoping for.

I specialize in trauma, substance use, and anxiety, and I tailor therapy to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals and am attentive to how differences in communication, processing, and sensory experience affect care. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and value creating a supportive, inclusive space for people of all identities.

My work integrates Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build insight, develop practical skills, and create real, sustainable change.

Above all, my goal is to help you move forward in a way that feels meaningful, realistic, and supportive.
